How much does a Arizona Lost Title Bond cost?

Arizona Lost Title Bond Information and Requirements

It may be necessary to apply for a title through the bonded title process if there is not enough documentation to satisfy a claim of ownership or if there are undisclosed liens on the vehicle or mobile home being titled.   

The bond covers any prior owner and lien holder and any subsequent purchaser of the vehicle or mobile home or person acquiring any security interest in it and their respective successor’s interest.  The value of the bond is one and one half times the value of the vehicle or mobile home.

When you title or register a vehicle in Arizona, your title information is stored electronically and you no longer automatically receive a paper title. You must complete a Title and Registration Application (link is external) and check the appropriate box at the top of the form. Only one owner’s signature is required, regardless of the number of owners or legal status. Allow up to six weeks for processing.
