Bond limits and requirements

Your bond amount depends on two things: your license classification (residential or commercial, general or specialty) and your anticipated annual gross volume of work in Arizona. Higher volume requires a larger bond.

Required amounts range from $2,500 for smaller commercial specialty contractors to $100,000 for commercial general contractors with over $10,000,000 in sales.
